The unique design features a thicker front which tapers down to a thinner rear. The result is that the pad is extended where it needs to be for indexing in your palm for positive reloads, but thinner in the back for a reduced profile. A scallop in the front gives your index finger traction when stripping out stuck magazines. Also features our usual dimples for marking your magazines.

Machined from rugged 6061-T6 aluminum, black anodized. Fits ONLY CMC Power Mag 8 round and Wilson 47 and 47D .45 caliber magazines.

    Great idea, great design but the take down hole ID is to large allowing the pad to move around fore and aft.

    1911 base pad review

    These base pads are well made and look great. I think they would fit my Wilson mags better if the take down hole had a smaller ID so they couldn’t move so much fore and aft. Will buy more if this is corrected.

    1911 bases

    While the base pads are pricey I was very happy with them on my magazines. They have an excellent feel and prevent over insertion. The easy grip design is a plus as well

    Please make more of these. I have your base pads for my M&P .45 and they are a great product. I have (4) .45 handguns with 6 magazines each and would like to outfit all my magazines with your base pads.

    Nicely Machined, Perfect Fitment. Highly Recommend

    I installed these on some Wilson 47Ds, ETMs, and PowerMag8s. It works great on all of them. I bought these to separate the EDC mags with the training mags. It works great. The rail side clearance is very tight, but can still be installed by hand. The cost is the only thing keeping me from buying 10 more of them. Note: The ETM mags leave a large gap between the pad and the frame. They fit the ETM mags great, but they do not sit in the mag recession of the frame.
