Fiber Optic
Some Glock slides are thinner at the front sight hole, and the sight's mounting post may protrude. This causes the set screw to tighten against the sight instead of the slide. To correct this, file some material off the bottom of the post (indicated in silver) so that the post sits below flush.

Description

Precision CNC machined from hardened 4140 tool steel and finished in black QPQ salt bath nitrocarburizing (aka Melonite, same as the Glock slide).

  • Fits: ALL Glock models, all calibers, all frame sizes, all slide sizes.
    • Fiber optic (.060" rod with .075" diameter counterbore on 40lpi serrated blade face for flared bulb).
    • Compatible with .250" blade height rear sights.  NOT compatible with Glock factory rear sights, fixed or adjustable, as they are shorter than .250" blade height.
  • Height: .215", .235" and .250"
    • ALL Glock models, regardless of size, caliber, or generation, most commonly use the .215" front.
    • Glock 34/35, 41, 17L, 24L most commonly uses the .235" front. Sights do not overhang slide cutout.
    • Glock 48 uses .250" front with our Glock MOS Standard Height Rear Sight.
    • The .235" front lowers impact approximately 2-3" at 25 yards relative to the .215" front.
    • The .250" front lowers impact approximately 3-5" at 25 yards relative to the .215" front.
    • Please note that different guns will vary in regards to point of impact, especially with differing shooter preference. These heights are recommendations, and we cannot guarantee point of impact due to variations in individual guns. Point of impact will vary by *individual gun* and not so much by generation.
  • Width: .125", .115"
    • Blade width is strictly personal preference.  Thinner fronts cover less of the target area and are preferred for speed.  Thicker blades like the .125" are preferred for improved accuracy and are our most popular.

All sights include set screw and one section each of red and green .060" fiber optic rods.

**INSTALL ONLY TO MAX TORQUE OF 6 INCH/LBS or else you may risk cracking the threaded post.

***Due to manufacturing tolerances by our fiber optic supplier, there may be slight variation in the diameter of the fiber optic rod. Use a razor blade or X-Acto knife at 90 degrees to the rod and gently scrape the outside diameter a little bit and it will fit right in without any compromise to the function.

    Great sight

I got the .235 x .100 fiber optic for my Glock 34 that I use for IDPA. (Rear sight is a Warren Tactical plain). I am very happy with the sight. I like the fact that it uses the bigger .060 fiber as opposed to the .040. The sight fit perfectly without filing and it is well constructed.

Best front sight for older eyes

I never thought I would ever install a fiber optic sight on my pistol, but after seeing the 10-8 one and reading the reviews on it I wanted to give it a try. I am really impressed by the quality and craftsmanship of this sight. My older eyes pick up the sight quickly and the fiber optic makes it easy to move from target to target. Thank you for a awesome product and fast shipping.

    fiber optic almost as expected

During the day time the sight is great, but once you get inside toward the evening or outside in the dark it didn't quite live up to my expectations. The sight wouldn't gather enough light in those situations like I hoped. Still it is a great sight and with the use of a tac light in low light situations it helps make the fiber optic brighter.

    Tritium front sight.

This sight works perfectly with my 10-8 rear on my Glock 17. Pushed right into the slot, no trouble installing. These are some sturdy sights and am very impressed again with this products quality.

    Front Sight w/Brass Bead

I combined the 10-8 brass bead front sight with a plain black 10-8 rear sight to replace the stock sights on my Gen4 Glock 21. The install on both was very easy. I had never tried a brass bead before and was genuinely surprised at how easy it is to pick up the front sight in even low light conditions. The u-notch and black rear sight drive your eyes right to the bead. This makes for extremely fast sight acquisition. It's just the ticket for aging eyes. Wish I had tried these years earlier.

    Tritium insert

Good kit, well constructed and fit my slide easily. I think I would have preferred the RedBack one style.

    215/125- Great but sharp

I like the look of the this sight and got mine with tritium green insert which seems fairly bright. My only complaint is the edges are very sharp and hang up on clothing when drawing from concealment. Not sure the best way to remedy this problem. Two other minor issues were no wrench to install of locktite which come with most sights.

    Exceptional Value

Getting the maximum out of your weapon can be unlocked by a simple sight set. I am no longer a fan of white dot or blacked out front sights. Fiber optic is my favorite as I shoot a lot outdoors and I find at night you can use your weapon mounted light to enhance your point of aim. 10-8 sights are top quality and install simply. I would recommend these and most likely would not use any other sight on any of my Glocks.

Brass Bead Front Sight For Glocks

I had been waiting for these sights to be in stock for well over a month and was excited when they finally did. I didn't hesitate and purchased one for one of my Glocks. When it arrived, my first reaction was...'well that's small (referring to the brass bead).' I chose to install it into my Glock 26 Gen 4 because of the shorter sight radius. My thought was that the farther away that brass bead got from my eyes, the harder it was going to be for me to pick it up quickly. The choice was the correct one. I really like it's performance on my baby Glock. My eyes are older and I'm stubborn about getting glasses so your experience may vary. One final note, I took a polishing dremel with some Flitz and made it shine. It now works even better.

    Glock Fiber Optic Front Sight

I recently installed the 10-8 fiber optic front sight on my G34 (.115 width, .235 height). I highly recommend this sight paired with the 10-8 rear sight. It shot point of aim/point of impact at a measured 30 yards. Another great product!
