Fiber Optic
Some Glock slides are thinner at the front sight hole, and the sight's mounting post may protrude. This causes the set screw to tighten against the sight instead of the slide. To correct this, file some material off the bottom of the post (indicated in silver) so that the post sits below flush.

Description

Precision CNC machined from hardened 4140 tool steel and finished in black QPQ salt bath nitrocarburizing (aka Melonite, same as the Glock slide).

  • Fits: ALL Glock models, all calibers, all frame sizes, all slide sizes.
    • Fiber optic (.060" rod with .075" diameter counterbore on 40lpi serrated blade face for flared bulb).
    • Compatible with .250" blade height rear sights.  NOT compatible with Glock factory rear sights, fixed or adjustable, as they are shorter than .250" blade height.
  • Height: .215", .235" and .250"
    • ALL Glock models, regardless of size, caliber, or generation, most commonly use the .215" front.
    • Glock 34/35, 41, 17L, 24L most commonly uses the .235" front. Sights do not overhang slide cutout.
    • Glock 48 uses .250" front with our Glock MOS Standard Height Rear Sight.
    • The .235" front lowers impact approximately 2-3" at 25 yards relative to the .215" front.
    • The .250" front lowers impact approximately 3-5" at 25 yards relative to the .215" front.
    • Please note that different guns will vary in regards to point of impact, especially with differing shooter preference. These heights are recommendations, and we cannot guarantee point of impact due to variations in individual guns. Point of impact will vary by *individual gun* and not so much by generation.
  • Width: .125", .115"
    • Blade width is strictly personal preference.  Thinner fronts cover less of the target area and are preferred for speed.  Thicker blades like the .125" are preferred for improved accuracy and are our most popular.

All sights include set screw and one section each of red and green .060" fiber optic rods.

**INSTALL ONLY TO MAX TORQUE OF 6 INCH/LBS or else you may risk cracking the threaded post.

***Due to manufacturing tolerances by our fiber optic supplier, there may be slight variation in the diameter of the fiber optic rod. Use a razor blade or X-Acto knife at 90 degrees to the rod and gently scrape the outside diameter a little bit and it will fit right in without any compromise to the function.

Good for play not for work

Bought these to run at work. The rear sight black out is great however the front fiber optic does not gather enough light in dim and lower light situations. It's great for day time or well light ranges however not as a tactical front sight. The fiber optic should be longer and supported by tritium to be effective tactical front sight.

    Well built product!!

I paired this front sight with the 10-8 black out rear sight on my G19. I focus off the front sight when I shoot, and the fiber optic is bright and easy to acquire. I also like that the front sight has a "rib" in the middle to protect the fiber optic piece, other front fiber optic sights don't have the extra piece. The rear sight is very sturdy. I can easily use the rear sight to "rack" the slide off of when doing one handed reloads. Very well built, very highly recommended.

    Best sights ever!

I love this sight! It was exactly what I wanted it to be! I'm not even interested in shooting a pistol that doesn't have these sights. I've been bragging to my co-workers who will probably be getting them for their duty guns. I installed them myself in just a few minutes. The only negative is that now I have to put a set on ALL my Glocks!

    Fibr. Optic Front

Very nice for precision shooting. The Fiber optic captures light efficiently and it is nice to have the option of green or red. Had a gunsmith install because of the design of a Glock 34 slide.

    Brass bead front sight

Very visible, even in low light conditions, and easy to acquire. Had a gunsmith do the installation.

    FIBER OPTIC SIGHT

Great sight for quick target acquisition! 10-8 delivered it promptly and supplied installation screw. Make sure and buy Glock front sight screwdriver.

    sights for older eyes

Finally found someone who manufactures a front sight that is .215 in height and .125 in width for us guys with older eyes. The extra long length really lets the fiber optic pick up light.

    Fast sight to acquire

Purchased the front and rear sight from 10-8 for my Glock. Fantastic sight once I got in installed. Had to file the rear sight down a little for my Glock 19. It is so easy now to pick up the front sight. Would recommend to all my friends.

    10-8 narrow front sight

The .125 width front sight I installed on my old Glock 17 has improved my sighted fire in less than a week. Combined with a wider U notch 10-8 rear,it gives me the sight picture I need for these older eyes and is faster to pick up at speed than other sights I have used in the past. Outstanding product combination and I recommend it highly.

    Glock Fiber Optic Front Sight

After installing your sight set, it was determined that I needed a taller front sight to make my Glock pistol shoot point of aim. I odered a new front sight and when it arrived (excellent delivery time as well by the way) the new taller front sight was of the same superior quality as the sight set I originally purchased. I certainly will be a repeat customer. Thank you for the excellent service.
