Magazine base pad for Glock 19X factory 19 round magazine or Glock 17 factory magazine with +2 extension. CNC machined from 6061 aluminum and Flat Dark Earth (FDE) Cerakote color matched to factory magazine tube, with dimples for marking your magazine and serrated front for positive stripping of stuck magazines, even with only one hand.

Pads install the same as the factory floor plates, using the factory mag extension insert, SP07165 and factory 11 coil magazine spring. Simply replace the factory 19X or +2 pad with ours.

Installation Tips (see pic gallery):

• Squeeze the sides of the mag tube to limit damage to the retaining nubs when the pad slides on. It's possible to install the pads with no significant marring using this technique. A GTUL mag tool is pictured.
• It is not recommended to install this pad without the SP07165 insert. If converting a standard 17 round Glock 17 magazine, you can get the SP07165 insert at Big Tex Ordnance or at Brownells.
• The 11 coil magazine spring is also sold as a Glock 22 spring. The Glock OEM 11 coil is the best spring option. The second best option is running the 10 coil Glock 17 OEM spring, but depending on spring wear/age and your gun's slide velocity (due to comp, springs, ammo, or lightening ports) you may experience feed malfunctions or failures to lock back. However, the OEM spring has proven to last longer than any aftermarket spring we've tried, period. (Pictured are OEM 11 and 10 coil springs, as well as the SP07165 insert). The factory springs are available at Glockmeister and Glockparts.

Fits Glock factory 17 round magazines for the Glock 17, 34, 19x, 45. NOT compatible with early production non metal lined (Gen1) Glock magazines, or the single column Glock 43, 43x/48 magazines. Do NOT install on Glock 19 length magazines, the angle at the bottom of the tube is not the same as the 17 round mag. DOES NOT fit Magpul Glock magazines. 

Same overall footprint as factory G19x/G17 +2 magazine and should fit into same mag wells, but we have not been able to test every option out there.
