Description
These base pads are injection molded from glass reinforced nylon, and they are super tough and resistant to impact. Our pads fit and install the same as the factory floor plates, use the factory retainer plate (magazine insert), and no extra parts are required.
The 10-8 pad is slightly thicker than the factory pad, and features angled sides and front to allow for easy stripping of stuck magazines. The pads also feature a grooved front and scalloped sides for positive grip during manipulations. The bottom of the pad features our usual dimples for marking your magazines.
- Fits Glock factory magazines for the double column 9mm, .40 S&W, .357 Sig, .45 GAP and Glock 44 (.22 cal), Gen2 and newer.
- Also fits Glock 44 .22 rimfire magazines and 9/.40 restricted capacity magazines as the tubes are externally identical to the standard capacity magazines.
- NOT compatible with early production non metal lined (Gen1) Glock magazines, or the single column Glock 43, 43x/48 magazines.
- NOT COMPATIBLE with Glock 26/27 where the magazine base pad has to fit in a recess in the frame.
- **Magazines with our pads DO fit in the Gen 5, 17M/19M, and 19X. The Glock 19X frame has a lip at the front and our pads will just barely clear.
- Fits KCI and ETS Glock magazines.
- DOES NOT fit Magpul Glock magazines.
Compatible with many magazine wells, including the Raven Concealment Systems Freya, Magpul, Zev Pro, Battle Arms Development, Killer Innovations, and Overwatch Precision. Is known to be INCOMPATIBLE with the Zev Universal Pro magwell. Please note that with certain mag wells (including Magpul and Zev Pro), individual frame/magazine combos may exhibit tolerance stacking and our base pad may interfere with the ability of the mag to lock into place when loaded.
Coyote and Olive Drab pads are limited production runs and may be priced differently. The colors were matched to new production Glock Gen4/5 frames, but Glock production runs vary in hue, so we can't guarantee an exact match to your particular frame. **We changed the name of our "Glock Dark Earth" pads as our color seems to match the Glock 19X Coyote better.**

**NOTE: We do not recommend excessive disassembly/reassembly of Glock magazines, as the retainer tabs molded on the bottom of the magazine tube are relatively soft and will ding up with each time the pad comes off or goes on the tube. This happens with both Glock factory pads as well as ours. We do not find that Glock magazines get a lot of dirt inside, so it is typically unnecessary to disassemble them for anything other than spring replacement.

- Are these easier to remove and install than the factory base pads?
- No, they remove and install exactly the same way. Keep in mind that "easy to remove" ends up meaning that the magazine will come apart when it hits the ground.

Glock magazine base
The product is amazing. I have a G45 and a 19X. These base plates allow me to use the same magazines in both guns. I’m glad they make this product. Gen 5 mags will not fit the 19X. Great solution and very affordable.

Glock base plates
I recommend this quality product. Compatible with my magwells, and allows clear marking of mags for identification. A good example of the high level of quality exhibited by all 10-8 products I have used.

Nice upgrade over factory.
I wanted to differentiate my EDC and training mags. Thought this would do that. They do. Bonus, they look awesome, are thicker and have nice finger scallops. They are oversized just enough to allow a bit more “ridge” if you will at the bottom of the mag well. This feels like I have better purchase during the draw. I’ll order more in a different color when my new build gets back home. They are HD enough to be considered for EDC tools.

Simple enhancements that makes a big differnece.
Looks like factory upgrade with the added bonus of slightly thicker pad than stock. Function flawlessly with Agency Magwell on my Glock 17 Gen 3. Note* does not seat well using Taran Tactical full size carry magwell for the Glock Gen 3. Great product and the design is very minimalist.

Best base pad at the best price
I cannot stand those big blocking extensions. I prefer using G17 mags with these base plates. Thicker the stock and textured and shaped in the perfect spots to assist with removal or reloading. Well done!! I given the 10 Stars!! No Gucci Glock crap from 10-8 just real quality hardcore improvements that are functional!

They just work, and look great!
Perfect color match, look great, and no problems seating the mags. All of my 40 cal Polymer 80's are coyote so the mags have coyote base plates so I can't mix up my 9mm mags which are black.

Excellent base pads!
I recently installed a Magpul mag well on my 3rd Gen Glock 19. After the installation, I noticed that my stock base pads did not protrude enough to get a positive seat for my magazine. So I decided it was time to upgrade my base pads. Installation was quick and easy and I am very happy with the 10-8 base pads! They give me plenty of purchase to insure positive reloads every time! I highly recommend them!

Well made product! (with caveat)
Purchased 8 of these for my Glock 17 and quality is high. Be advised that these only fit newer gen mags however. I have several early 9mm original Glock mags and the base plate dimensions are smaller than later gens. The 10-8's will pop off immediately on the early gen mags, but fit perfectly on my newer mags. I don't know all the iterations of Glock mag generations, but with what I own, only the ones with "9mm" engraved on the rear fit these pads. As mentioned they are well made and recommended, just be aware if you have early gen mags

As close to perfect as you can get
These 10-8 Glock magazine base pads gives plenty of grip for removal of stuck magazines yet remain low in profile to allow for concealment. It’s the best that I’ve used so far.

Great stuff
Run these on all Glocks, including the 19X, without any problems. These baseplates provide a better UC type plate with slightly more grip area in the event the mag sticks. Stock baseplates work but they don't provide enough grip area.
