Description
Tall rear sight for clearance over slide mounted mini red dot sights (RMR, SRO, Holosun, and similar deck height. Does NOT cowitness over DeltaPoint Pro.) or suppressors. Fits Glock dovetail, profile will clear MOS cover/adapter plate.. CNC machined from prehardened 4140, QPQ (nitrocarburize) finish equivalent to Glock slide.
Height is listed as total height of sight with dovetail.
- .395" total height (.320" above slide, .075" dovetail)
- .140" or .156" wide U notch, notch is .125" deep
- Serrated front face for improved purchase when used for racking and manipulations
- Is .070" taller than our standard height Glock Rear Sight, and is recommended with .315" front sight for all applications
- Provides the following co witness when the below optics are mounted with factory MOS, recommended CHPWS adapter plates, or direct milled to similar depth as MOS.
-Trijicon RMR, Holosun 407c/507c, Holosun 508T, Holosun 509T - approximately lower 1/3
-Aimpoint ACRO, Trijicon SRO, Trijicon RMR HD - approximately lower 1/4
-DOES NOT co witness over DeltaPoint Pro due to deck height of optic- Due to the variation in suppressor tube diameters and optic heights, we do not guarantee that this sight will protrude over your particular setup, nor are we able to maintain a database of all possible height/fit variations.
Fitting is usually not required, but the QPQ/Melonite finish is harder than a normal steel file. If the sight is too tight and needs to be filed, use a diamond file or hone (see Brownells.com), as files will slide right off the surface.

ASH556These are the best Glock MOS sights hands down. I started with Ameriglos...the rear drifted out of the dovetail mid-class with Gabe White. I went to Heinie's...they hit 5" high at 25yds. I went to Overwatch Precision's Haveblue's and they cut me and my clothes all up. The 10-8's hit where they're supposed to, are comfortable to carry, are secure on the pistol, and are low enough to be out of the way until you need them.Mark CousinsGlock Optic Height Rear Sight
As with all my other 10-8 Performance sights, the fit and finish was great. The 10-8 sight with the U-notch and wider gap allows for a crisp, clear front sight focus. Sight and target acquisition is much faster and comes in handy with older eyes.Steven RademacherCan height rear sight - Glock
Same outstanding design and quality as we always get from Hilton. That's why I keep coming back!Solomon TorluemkeGlock Optic Height Rear Sight
I really like 10-8 Performance u-notch sights and this one didn’t disappoint. It was perhaps the most difficult of the 10-8 Performance sight that I’ve fit to date. I’m not a professional gunsmith, I just like working on my own stuff. The sight was oversized for the Glock factory dovetail which I appreciate because I like having a sight that can be fit tightly into a dovetail with set screws and Loctite adding additional security to keep the sight in place. The additional material is what made fitting the sight more difficult. Following the recommended procedures I fit the sight to the slide dovetail which took a bit longer than normal, but wasn’t an issue otherwise. I would not recommend trying to use a sight pushing tool to mount the sight to the slide because it’s likely that you’d damage the slide. If you don’t have the tools recommended by 10-8 or are prepared to follow the instructions, I’d take this to a professional gunsmith for fitting.Kevin WallaceGlock extra tall fiber optic front sight
My go to sights for all of my optic equipped Glocks. Fantastic quality, super durable and great customer service!Allen BakerGlock Optic Height Rear Sight
This is my second set of the sights. I installed one set on a G34.5 MOS and the other on a G45 MOS. Both will be used in conjunction with a Forward Control Design RMR plate and HS 507c or RMR Type 2. Fit and finish is perfect as always. Flack front and black rear is perfect when paired with a red dot. 10-8 is my only choice. I have 10-8 rear sights on 13 Glocks, 2 M&P's and 3 1911's. There is no alternative. Going to install a set of these sights on a G26.3 build in the near future.RONGlock optic height sights
Set-up; Glock G45 mos, C&H plate, Holosun 507c. Quality seems good, coating is very hard (so hard a standard file won’t touch it). Co-witness= just visible in red dot window. Always a gamble buying optic height sights bc of variances in milling of slides, mounting plate thicknesses, and red dot base thicknesses. If you have a set up close to mine and want a non-obstructive backup iron sight then these should serve you well. If you want a 1/3 or true co-witness for some reason, a slightly taller sight will be wanted.MattOptic Height Rear Sight
I mounted this on a Glock G19 MOS with a CHPWS plate and Holoson 507C. The Optic Height Rear Sight is the perfect height for a bottom of glass backup sight. It doesn't interfere with the optic, but when needed it is right there. With the appropriate 10-8 front sight it was perfect point of aim right out of the box. It took a tiny bit of filing to fit to my Glock. Excellent quality, solid sight.KevinGlad it's made of steel
I have my backup rears installed in front of my pistol optic, mostly because I like to beat against it if there's a jam, or I need to rack the slide one handed. Glad I found something made of steel, serrated, and suppressor height.DavidGLOCK OPTIC HEIGHT REAR SIGHT
Previously I used another major brand three dot optic height night sights for my Glock 19 Gen 5 MOS. I decided to switch on over to 10-8 for a couple reasons. First, I prefer the U notch versus the square notch on my other sights. Second, I also prefer not having the distraction of the tritium dots on the rear. The quality of these appear great, but I will just throw out there that they did require some fitting/filing. I want to pretend that I am some hardened gun-fitting expert, but sadly, that is not the case. I am a bit more used to just smashing things in with a hammer and calling it a day. I did have to use a file to get it to fit and I think the efforts were well rewarded. I feel like it is fit to my weapon, and also enjoy the top screw that holds it down which I have not seen on most other Glock sights. Plus, let's not discount that I walked away from the experience having learned something new, how to fit a part to your gun versus the smash it in with a hammer until it complies thing I mentioned earlier. One last note: I installed these on a Glock 19 Gen 5 MOS using a Trijicon RMR on a CHPWS plate. These definitely sit much lower than my previous sights offering more of a "lower 1/3" cowitness versus dead in the middle. I find this to be another positive but wanted to leave that note for everyone's awareness. Overall, very happy with this product and recommend it highly.Leave a Review
