  This is my second purchase of this product. The first one was so great I had to get another one for my other 1911. Perfect fit, finish and function! I couldn't be happier!

  I've purchased two of the 10-8 recoil spring plugs, a stainless when a changed the guide rod on my Springfield TRP, and a carbon model for my Kimber Super Carry custom. Both plugs are well built and function as well, if not better, than any spring plug on the market. Where the 10-8 Performance Plugs really stand out from the crowd is in their aesthetics. These are by far the nicest looking plugs you can buy and really add to the eye appeal of your 1911.

  Gi Set up for TRP

  I bought a Springfield TRP with a full length guide rod and hated that I needed an allen key to takedown my firearm. On my 1911 forum there was an article of a guy running the same products that I bought from 10-8 performance and thought I would give it a try. I got the guide rod and plug, fitment was great, firearm ran as smooth as glass and the parts looked like they were made to last a lifetime. I love their products and this wont be the last time I buy from them.

  Dropped Into TRP Perfectly

  I got rid of the 2 piece TRP guide rod and got a Wilson Flat Wire kit. However I heard the Wilson plug was too long, and the 10-8 would fit. Sure enough, it dropped in perfectly. Take downs are super easy now!

  The spring plug may be the only part that drops right in! I cannot stand full length guide rods so this was a must. Matches perfectly with the 10-8 bushing and operates well with the 10-8 spring guide. High quality component you've come to expect from 10-8.

  Nice drop in part. Bead blasted stainless steel matched my Ed Brown perfectly. Fit and finish is top notch.
