Description
Features a solid aluminum shoe with a serrated face in bead blasted natural finish, a full width stainless steel bow, and a fixed stainless steel overtravel stop permanently mounted from the rear of the shoe. This trigger eliminates all issues associated with loose overtravel screws -- no staking, Loctite, or other end user monitoring is necessary. Once the overtravel is set, it is good to go for the life of the trigger.
Our flat trigger has become one of our trademarks, and brings this competition tested concept into a duty ready design. The shoe features a flat face, providing consistent trigger feel no matter where you engage the trigger. The length of pull is the same as the shortest point on a traditional "long" curved trigger.
Available in long/flat only.
The triggers are oversized and will require gunsmith fitting. Please note that the rear mounted overtravel stop is NOT a screw - it is not meant to turn and should be filed to provide the necessary overtravel length.
Compatible with all single stack 1911 pattern pistols.

Once you try it, you'll never go back!
I first tried the 10-8 Performance flat trigger about 3 years ago as an experiment to see what the hype was about. It took some getting used to, but once I did I fell in love with it and finally understood the theory behind it. Now all my 1911's wear them and I consider it a must have addition to any new pistol I buy!

10-8 Short/Curved - Perfect Fit
Purchased the short/curved trigger to replace the factory trigger in my Smith & Wesson E-Series (w/ rail so SW1911TA). This was because I realize I needed the short trigger to get the most efficient and direct press to the rear. And it works! Fitment was required in some spots. Trigger was oversized (as advertised) so I fitted the trigger just perfectly. The bow was slightly longer than the factory trigger as well so as an added bonus, it shortened up the pull, and there was no adjustment needed to the overtravel stop. I had to re-fit the factory grip safety for proper function due to the slightly longer bow. Overall, I highly recommend this for people who have a little bit of patience, can detail strip a 1911, and own some jewelers' files. Installing the short trigger on my E-Series really made a huge difference in ergonomics and now i'm not messing up the trigger pull as much anymore.

Best Trigger Ever!
This trigger is an remarkable improvement to my Springfield TRP. It came nicely oversized for a nice tight fit after some light filing. I love the fixed file-to-fit overtravel screw and lack of adjustment hole in the trigger face. I have long fingers and this flat trigger allows me to have a more natural trigger pull. I plan to add this trigger to every 1911 I own.

10-8 LONG STRAIGHT TRIGGER KIMBER TLEII
I installed this trigger into my Kimber and I have nothing but good to say about it. The install went well, the part require very little fitting so go slow and dry fit a lot.

Terrific Trigger
Until lately, I did not need a new trigger but was always curious how a flat trigger would feel to the shooter. Not exactly the same, but after experiencing a Geissele SD3G trigger, there was definitely something to it that needed to be experienced. The flat faced trigger offers a very confident trigger pull no matter where you land on your grip or finger placement. Definitely worth it. Mine dropped right into my SA frame but have an expectation that some fitting is most likely required. Also, the integral over travel stop is a fantastic idea. PLEASE take a little at a time from the stop itself. Though excessive over travel will not grossly effect the function of your pistol, it can give a well tuned ignition system a satisfying edge and last the life of your ignition set up. Exceptional 10-8 quality and execution, as expected.

great trigger
If you are thinking about it just do yourself a favor and buy this trigger, you won't be disappointed. Requires fitting but it's light fitting and easy to do just take your time. I got the flat long trigger and have noticed a difference in my shooting right away.

Definate improvement
I carry a Springfield Light weight Operator on patrol (personally owned) and did not like the trigger that came in it. I added the short curved trigger and noticed a change in pull immediately. I didn't have to take much material off at all to get it working smooth and fast.

Best replacement to improve trigger pull
I had read the reviews and thought why not, the idea is sound - flat face for a linear transfer of force. It absolutely feels the same from shot to shot allowing the shooter to not have to divert that minute amount of attention to feel the trigger for the sweet spot and simply drive the gun. That being said it is a bit over-sized, but not much; it almost dropped into my Range Officer out of the packaging; some very minor fitting with 400 grit and polishing with 1000 then a bit of Flitz on the bow made this a tight fitting smooth pulling upragde. There was a bit of work on the overtravel screw but knowing that it won't go anywhere - ever is a huge plus. My favorite feature is the rounded serrations on the trigger face a couple hundred rounds caused no irritation of my finger. Go give it a try, you won't regret it.

Requires fitting, excellent quality
I always feel that the worst aspect of any off-the-shelf 1911 is the trigger. Unless it's custom built, standard triggers don't cut it. Hilton's trigger fits the void. Definitely oversized. Requires fitting. Easy to fit at home with file or 400/600 grit sandpaper. Nice and tight, no movement once properly fit. The fixed overtravel screw is a definitely plus. I have this trigger on all my 1911's... All my Les Baers and Springfield Custom shop pieces. In fact, any 1911 I buy this trigger is the first mod. Buy with confidence.

Super nice product and customer service
I purchased 3 long curved triggers. They were all three identical and very well made. I put them in three different 1911's. -Colt Stainless 70 series -Remington R1 Black Oxide -Springfield Armory Mil Spec They all required a little bit different amount of fitting but, all went in very nicely and I didnt have to fit the over travel stop on any of them. -The Colt required a little off the top and bottom of the trigger. -The Remington didnt require more than just a slight smoothing with a needle file -The Springfield required the most metal removal (not a lot just comparably) most of it on the top side (go figure). I just used a fine fullsize file for most of the work and finished off with a very fine needle file to smooth it up. I am very happy. They look and feel great. It was fun doing all three one after te other and seeing the differences. Buy with confidence you are getting a quality product from nice people.
