Description
Features a solid aluminum shoe with a serrated face in bead blasted natural finish, a full width stainless steel bow, and a fixed stainless steel overtravel stop permanently mounted from the rear of the shoe. This trigger eliminates all issues associated with loose overtravel screws -- no staking, Loctite, or other end user monitoring is necessary. Once the overtravel is set, it is good to go for the life of the trigger.
Our flat trigger has become one of our trademarks, and brings this competition tested concept into a duty ready design. The shoe features a flat face, providing consistent trigger feel no matter where you engage the trigger. The length of pull is the same as the shortest point on a traditional "long" curved trigger.
Available in long/flat only.
The triggers are oversized and will require gunsmith fitting. Please note that the rear mounted overtravel stop is NOT a screw - it is not meant to turn and should be filed to provide the necessary overtravel length.
Compatible with all single stack 1911 pattern pistols.

This was my first and is my favorite 10-8 part!
It was easy to fit and works great. I like it so much I bought a second one for use in another 1911.

Great Part but fit carefully
I have purchased two of these from different vendors and the trigger bows are longer than other flat triggers on the market. This increases the difficulty of fitting and possibly when properly fitted may prevent returning to your old trigger if you don't like the flat style. Trigger bow length was ok for a springfield loaded and only required fitting the height and overtravel. The bow was too long to provide adequate pretravel in a S&W. Overall I like the concept of the flat trigger.

A flat trigger for every 1911 I'll ever own!
I installed the Flat Trigger on my SA Mil-Spec 1911 and love the improvement it's made. Although it is still critical, at least to me, for accuracy that the pad of my finger contacts the trigger between the tip and the first joint, it feels like it is less important where on the trigger my finger is contacting as it seems to be the same whether high, low or in the center of the trigger face. An added bonus is I like how it feels, both in a better fit for my hands over the stock short trigger and it's solid fitment upon installation. I like it so much that I just ordered one for my Kimber to install ASAP!
